    Information stems from Data

Data are generated by every human action, by devices, and software applications. We have to distill the data into useful information to make decisions. Learn more about research in data/information

    Networks

Networks connect humans, data, and devices together in diverse ways. Understanding the connections helps us solve intricate problems. Learn how networks matter.
  • Human Cognition and Behavior

We build information systems that make it easier for individuals, groups, organizations, and society to accomplish their objectives. Learn more about human behavior and technology.

The Confluence of Information, Networks, and Human Behavior

We innovate in education and research at the junction of information, networks, and human behavior towards discovering and modeling of new social and technical phenomena. Our academic and research programs explore the connections between people, information, and networks/systems. Discover how this confluence addresses the societal, technological, and organizational challenges we face today.
